Tim Commandeur is an international touring drummer and music producer recognised for a powerful, musical approach behind the kit. Emerging from ARIA Award–winning band Operator Please, he has built a two-decade career performing with globally recognised artists including Royel Otis, Pnau, The Veronicas, Genesis Owusu, Tkay Maidza, Crooked Colours and more. Raised in a recording studio environment, Commandeur developed an early connection to both performance and production. His playing merges the precision of studio craft with the energy and intensity of live performance, informed by influences including Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys), Matt Tong (Bloc Party), and the groove-driven studio mastery of Steve Gadd. Alongside touring, he produces and releases music under Channings, a live/electronic project drawing on 90s big beat and club culture. His production work extends into fashion and large-scale visual experiences, composing for global brands including Quiksilver, Roxy, F45, Dior, and scoring major installations such as Vivid Sydney and Uluru’s “Sunrise Journeys.”  Tim is proudly endorsed by Ludwig Drums, Zildjian, Remo, and Vic Firth.
